not sure what you mean by "fuely form" but the 351w was used in 1968 through 1996. If you are looking for the best years, performance wise, of the 351w look for 1969-1974. 351w came in trucks f150 f250
cars ltds, torinos, fairlanes, big cars

For a fuel inj. 351 look for a early to mid 90's f-250 or f350 truck or van. my 96 f-350 van had one in it.

Are you planing to use all the stock componets from a stock 351w efi on your dart block? Why?

About the only EFI weezer your going to find will be a van or truck from the late 80s or 90s. Not to mention things like the crank wont fit the dart block. The intakes are considered poor. Not much of a performance engine by any means.

Since your going EFI, either timing cover will work for you. The big difference with the covers is some have provisions for mechanical fuel pumps, and some do not (EFI covers). Both will work, just block the pump port with a block off plate.

I only want the motor for a couple things like crank senser timing cover so on..
I would never ever ever put the internals into my dart block..

the timing cover is the same as a 302 and this maybe something new to me but i've never seen a crank sensor on a 351w. or 302

Good to hear. For a second there, I thought that was your plan.

Im not sure on the crank sensors, but check into some of the explorer timing covers, for some reason, Im thinking the last years of them with 302s had a crank sensor.

Edit. Sorry, Im confusing the crank sensor with the cam sensor. Pretty sure non of them have crank sensors.

the xploder did have both a crank and cam sensor. it used a 36-1 toothed wheel on the balancer and a half moon sensor where the dizzy goes. they use dis coils like a 4.6
