x2 and congrats on getting it running good again... I had the same problem with a yoke I bought and had them send me another one by Mark Williams - it slid right in...

E-mail a copy of your driveshaft invoice to me if you get a chance. I'd like to see if there's anything I can do on our side to get your expenses reimbursed for this modification.

    Thanks,

    Pete

Pete really made an effort to make this situation right. Offered to address the output shaft and take care of shipping and everything involved. When I chose not to do that he picked up the tab for me having to get the driveshaft shortened to clear the awkward part of the output shaft.

Excellent support, going above and beyond from my perspective.

A few quick updates. I am mad at this board for not walking on tapatalk, it is hindering my picture posting.

-Rear is done, 3.55's back in, strange 35 spline SS axles and spool along with 5/8 wheel studs
-Removed Digital 6 and blue HVC Coil, replaced with red HVC Coil and MSD Grid setup
-Moved coolant catch can to fenderwell
-Plumbed undermount trans cooler with fan
    -Removed front mounted transmission cooler
-Installed scott rod aluminum panel on driver side when replacing the coil

We are working on wiring everything up under the dash tomorrow. The MSD GRID gave us an opportunity to clean some things up under there.

That MSD Grid looks way trick, can't wait to see the pics of all the new work! Sounds like the car is going to be super solid!

    Mike,

This is Roger again from Jax. Very glad to hear everything is coming along well for you. I am sure you'll do well at Bradenton, and I wish you the best of success there. Sad to say, it looks like March will be a no-show for me. Just too little time and $$$ left to get everything accomplished I need to be there in two months. Which is depressing, because with the major updates, I was really looking foward to being there in the mix with you guys.

I have the motor, 88mm set-up, BS3, and am happy to say Pete (Hughes) will have my PG shipped out tomorrow. Just too many things left: cage, fuel system, chute, rear-end....not to mention time to get my NHRA license and the necessary tuning/testing in before the race. Maybe next year. G/L sir! Hope to catch up with you again in the near future!

BTW, I'll add a build thread here soon once I get the car back from the chassis shop and into the race shop for re-assembly and resurrection :D

I finished cleaning up the lines for the breather tank. These are -12an with a 120 on passenger side and 3 90's on the other ones.

The catch can is from race part solutions as well as the lines. Welding of bungs by my chassis guy.

Summit was a bit cheaper with the pro shop discount in the fittings.

I have also had a Scott rod aluminum panel sitting around for over a year. Since it was time to change my coil we finally put it in.

I am still an advocate of black push lock vs braided.

I also milled the r intake spacer .25 to prevent it from grazing my hood.
The coolant catch can is now tucked up in the fenderwell also.

Mike, be careful which brand push loc you use on fuel lines. Only a few are NHRA approved! They have been cracking down around here. Just a FYI

I have high end NHRA/IHRA approved aeroquip line for fuel from glenn's performance. The only econo line is on my breathers.

Car is close to ready for Bradenton.

Have been working on wiring under dash. My buddy Ryan took on making it perfectly organized. With carpet in place it should be almost out of view.

Will be testing MSD GRID sat.

I made up Moroso super 40 wires so they are the perfect length and away from hotside.

We are done, car is running. It comes right up on boost with the 3 step, amazing difference.

Car will ultimately spin the tires but I am going to play a bit with proportion in valve and rpm.

Will post a video in a few.

Ready for Bradenton, only a few small changes!

Right now they are at 3000 and 4200. It was a bit cold out to continue to experiment.

Any advice on what to have these set at?

I have three, 2200, 3200, and 3800. I'll keep fooling with it to see what works best but so far I have been able to make 12 lbs on the brake which I wasn't able to before.

The car running in 27 degree weather.

We were going to record doing a bunch of smokey test launches in a furniture store parking lot but I am wary of any evidence of misbehavior.
