I left it on as it seemed to have no effect removing it. Its also hollow and weighs very little so no weight penalty. With the exception of my empty struts, my chassis is still completely road race friendly yet performs quite well at the track. It actually handles better than stock considering the subframe connectors, roll cage and strut tower brace. All drag race oriented stuff but ALSO the same stuff a corner burner would be outfitted with.

Well I went out last night for a little testing. On the way to the track I did a few test launches. Worked great. But anything over 100mph I developed a nasty shake in the front end. So back to the house I went. Ordered up some 90/10's I'll fab to fit.

It was always on race gas and weighs around 3660 with driver. Its some long reading but you can find the thread in the hall of fame builds further down on the main page. Its titled "How long till it Grenades".
