Started on the driverside panel today!
    Some pics:

Started to cut a little :)

Mock up the panel, did require some adjusting but not much! Really good fit
    from Scottrodfab!

    Some holes was filled :)
    [IMG]#ad

    And grinded down...
    [IMG]#ad

Spot welded the panel in place!
    [IMG]#ad

And after some more welding and grinding this is how I left it... Still some work to do but
    you get the picture!

    More work done today!

This is after more welding and grinding...
    [IMG]#ad

Here I have put some glassfiber filler on.
    [IMG]#ad

    And here it's sanded down...
    [IMG]#ad

Some more filler is added here and sanded down.
    [IMG]#ad

And this is how it turned out, only primed on these pictures... Some imperfections need to be sanded down before final paint!

    Update?!?!?

Also I love this build. It got me through two hours of a really boring day at work. Plus now I am so amped up and ready for my build (just two months away from purchasing a b&g turbo kit for my 347 stroker 87 GT.

Good luck with the fender panels and the wiring!

Top end is going to be AFR 185 Comp heads and custom cam from Ed Curtis @ Flowtech Induction
as it looks right now anyways... Not 100% sure yet...

Those heads should work fine but it may be time to step up the turbo size :)

Nice! T4 Flange I assume? Have you considered the 8285?

    Yes T4 flange... 0.96A/R
    Going to run 4" downpipe

I'm all open for sugestions on turbo choice as long it's not some huge bastard turbo..

Give me some more info on that turbo? Or source so I can read for myself :)

    Looks like a nice turbo!

The hotside is not divided on my car...

The thing with divided exhaust housings is that they are larger then single entry houses of the same size...

One other thing is that they are pretty expensive compared to a PT88.
Sure, they surely are a better turbo but is it worth it? :)

I wasn't sure on the housing but now I know. Yeah the PT88 is where you want to go then. If you do want something larger you can call Jose at Forced Inductions and have him make you up a T4 Housing Turbo all the way up to a 94 I believe. That may be another option. But yes the PT88 is where it is at, or a 4788.

whew that turbo is pricey. like others have said the pt47-88 is a bad mofo in the t4 flange but a pt88 makes a butt load of power to for way cheaper.

I went with AFR 185 Competition heads with Inconel exhaust valves and titan retainers, upgraded rocker studs and springs ...
