I have a 750 BT demon carb and have been 9.80 @ 139. Need to tune out a rich cruise but otherwise carb is great. Out of the box I have only made jet changes and added vent tube extensions. How fast has anyone else been and am I the only one having success with one. Just wondering, all I hear is bashing.

no doubt there was a lot of problems with demons. My buddy found 2 demons with the cross channel breaking thru into the emulsion well on the metering blocks. This caused some lean issues cuz it introduces a bunch of air from the high speed bleed directly into the cross channel. That air is supposed to go thru the emulsion holes.
One of the 2 carbs with this issue was the one in my above post. Found this after the fact when he went to a different combo.

Funny thing is they have videos up showing how they wetflow bench tested every carb after assembly. If they truely measured anything they would have seen the calibration was off because of the metering block issues.

I'm using a 750 CSU blow thru and am also intersted in where the limit might be on this sized carb. I am using twin TC76 Turbonetic ball bearing turbos so I have plenty of potential. Just wondering how much of the twins I will be able to use? This will be used on a Pontiac 389 (406) 1960 block. If I ever get ti done??? Mark L

got a new best time for my demon blow thru on friday. [email protected] and 6.01@121 1/8th. :chacha: This was with a 1.56 60ft. This was also withdrag radials and full exhaust with tailpipes. Could have gone faster but my rf tire blew at the finish line on that pass at 151 mph, needless to say that ended my day.
