Tacked up 1st part of exit exhaust. Will finish weld that part tomorrow, and start on the rest heading to the rear.

    Thanks,

looks great! are you going to put something above the steering rack boots? looks like they would melt, unless it's farther then it looks..

And where do you get your tubing from?

Its probably about 1/2" clearance. I will have to wrap em or the tube as it could melt as you stated.

I bought my tubing from two places. Bought the header tubing from Mandrel-bends.com and the bigger tubing from acceltube.com.

    Thanks,

    Michael

This update is not about the cobra although I expect to have some more pics soon of a finished exhaust, but I have another snake in the stable now. Pretty pumped. Really got such a deal on it, I couldn't pass it up. Viper GTS with some great upgrades and a little over 30k miles. 600RWHP. Stryker heads, ported intake, big brake upgrade, adjustable suspension, cam, headers, corsa exhaust, centerforce clutch, wheels, and dyno tuned.

I think I will paint the cobra viper red so they can match.

Look's nice. Sounds familiar. I get sidetracked too with other new project's. It is hard not to want big boy toy's when you can get such a good deal on them.

Beautiful Viper !! Well now that you have your dream car I guess you can give me the old Mustang.

Is that your wife asking if you were phyched about the car and saying how tight it looked? If it is you are a lucky man,My wife could care less about any of my toys and they sure dont excite her, lol.

Yep. Thats the wife. She is very cool. I got pretty lucky with her. She is getting into cool cars lately. She just got a Chrylser 300 SRT8 and loves it. I think she is getting the HP itch. ;) May have to put a blower on the 6.1L Hemi.

Very nice build!!!! Ive been following it for about 2 years now, just finally registered because i am starting my own somewhat similar build, just not using my 93 Teal Cobra. Going to be my 69mach1 4.6dohc single t76 turbo, fully forged. I need to buy a tig welder though for making some nice headers like those ones you made, or if you just happen to ever be in south texas with your welder that would work too.

It's great to have a fun car to drive while you work on your project. Viper's are just awesome. Congrats! You must have a dang good job, and it's deserved seeing how much skill you have with.. everything!

I purchased the radiator online through ebay through ledfoot_racing. Its a 4 core Champion radiator. Not the top brand, but lifetime warranty, and I was pleased with it when it arrived. The fans and radiator shroud are optional through them. They are 12" spal radiator fans. Reversible, and push about 2800cfm according to their website.

"spal quality" what does that mean, are they spal or some chinese knock-off of spal? If real spal thats a damn good price.

Auction says spal, but likely a knock off.

Exhaust is done (minus some O2 sensor bungs). Decided to do dumps. No room to go over axle, and didn't want to try under. I plan to fill in the exhaust cut outs on the rear bumper. Working on the intake tubing.

    Thanks,

    Michael
