pop on launch blowthrough

    I have a c&s blowthrough methanol carb and something has drastically changed since I went to the dyno a few months ago ... The only thing that changed/happened was I had a flex joint come apart inside and we fixed those so it may be breathing better since the exhaust isn't plugged up. It has also dropped 30 degrees air temp... long story short it is WAY lean as 1 point a/f ratio and it will now pop when I let the brake go and then around the 60' before I shift to high.... I added some main rear jet and it helped the afr in high, but the pop is still there down low.... I am thinking something fuel related... maybe try some jet extensions?? If it was ignition it would do it in high but high gear is good and it pulled 119 today in the 1/8th....

    Just trying to be helpful so please don't take the wrong way. But it doesn't take long for alcohol to gum up the fuel system / carb. Take everything apart & clean it. Especially since it was fine on the dyno
