    Someone started to say The Fast and Furious, which obviously doesn't stack up to any of the other's listed in this thread, but I'll give them a little bit of credit. Although they don't include the caliber of car to be considered a "great car movie," it captured the attention of a my generation and introduced them to something they may not become involved with.

    No one has mentioned the original Italian Job. It was available to stream on Netflix for a while and may still be available.

    The original Fast and Furious was good,
    2fast2furious,Tokyo Drift were brutal and the 4th one had sweet cars but really fake scenes, havnt watched Fast five yet

    ha ha didnt consider Dazed and Confused a car movie but I have to rate it very highly, awsome movie, kick ass GT0,SS,Duster,trans am and my fav the C-10. This movie was the reason I built my 69 Chev, Im about to re-do it and its going jet black with red interior.

    Yeah the C-10 is probably one of my favorite movie car of all time. I love that part when pull up next to the middle schoolers in the Continental and do that nasty burnout...... Its half the reason I am building my truck. Its the same truck just 20 years newer, and a hell of a lot cheaper then a 70 would have been.
