so i finished the hat and painted it black to match the rest of the motor. also started making the down pipes for it out of stainless because they will have salt water running thru them. they came out pretty good. i still need to mount the v-band rings on them but i cant do that until i have the motor in the boat and know what the final position is going to be. ill put some pics up in a little bit. thanks for looking. ian :2thumbs:

:chacha: so the motor is in the boat now and im trying to finish things up on it :2thumbs: im thinking it will be atleast two weeks before it is seaworthy but you never know...it might be less??.. im still waiting on my aem air/fuel guage from jegs so i cant run it anyway. supose its a good thing cause it gives me time to really finish things up on it. last night i stripped the wiring harness down to the bare minimum so i can start freash with only the stuff i need. prob wont put it back together untill i get the new guage. well thanks for looking...ill put some pics up tomorro ian adair

You need angled snap rings pliers. Unless you have a good pair, it is a two man job.
