    I have put together a lil 370,

Wisco pistons, scat rods, arp 2000 bolts..

Using 317 heads, ported with larger valves.

Vic jr intake, accufab TB, extreme voloicty carb hat..

    The Turbo is a 91.5 thumper from turbonetics. T6 with a .96 a/r

Still working on getting the wastegate, bov, management ect..

Going to stuff all of this into a 72 Nova, infront of a TH350 3500 stall, and 9" rear.

Needing ideas on wastegate sizes, I was thinking of running 2inch piping from the truck manifolds to the turbo, then 5" downpipe split into dual 3" pipes out the back.

I want to know if anything thinks I will run into issues dualing out the 5" into two 3" pipes.?? Thanks for the help/ideas

I would run 2.5" to the turbo, at least 2.25". The openings on the manifold can be opened up quite a bit. As far as splitting the downpipes, 3" will work fine. 3.5" would be better if you can fit it.

Sounds like a nice build. One caution I have read is that factory heads are only good to 15, maybe 18 psi boost before they start having coolant seeping problems. You will be making plenty of power before that point however. I would love to see pictures of your setup - especially the intercooler mounting (if you are that far along). I am doing a similar build, except with 2 66mm turbos. I recently installed an aftermarket subframe in my '69 Nova and it gives me enough clearance to use truck manifolds turned forward and down. Lot more room around the engine and oil pan now.

ARP head studs will help with pushing water but the 317's aren't going to do you any favors at that high level. However, 15 or so psi from a 91mm turbo will break plenty of other stuff at the same time

look up camaroandres, he designed a special ring thats 100x better than an O-ring'd head/block. he made 1500hp or so on the engine dyno with stock heads and stock crank.

It was 1360 flywheel hp. And its not cheap either, like $370 per gasket/ring.

seen an idioticly strong 4 turbo big block once in some car magazine that used gas filled rings , it leaked like mad untill it reached operating temperature , he used those rings everywhere (intake exaust heads ) , the engine never made it to the track it was deemed illegal by the inspectors
the whole package was made to fit in a full bodied car

That's mike moran's quad motor, it didn't leak and did make some hits, but yes all the racing bodys ruled out the quad turbos.
