the only qa1 suspension part I have is a k-member and the instructions with it were plenty enough to install that lol.
I don't expect any suspension to be fully setup over the phone even if it came from David Wolfe.
That's what the track is for.

I figured 3 guys local to me having problems was all the information I needed. So you need to read my posts as well it sounds like.

I run full Team Z suspension front and rear, and that was what I was referring to. I can go to one guy to answer all of my suspension questions, because every part is from the same guy. I've seen several guys post up about how Dave actually went to the track with them in person to help them set up their Team Z suspension.

it was about 8 years ago when i put it in so I figure why not read the instructions.
When did you first start making k-members anyway? Just wondering, I don't mean anything by it, I'm just interested.

Thank you Turbomut for being the only person in my thread actually answering my question. If you had any pictures, i would love to take a look. I pretty much felt the same way as what you said about your drivers side. These solid motor mounts definitely aren't going to work, that's for sure.

I wish I could give you some pics but I have the motor out so I can redo it for the winter. I might try prothane mounts since I know they are taller than the enrgy suspension mounts which may help with the clearance.

Alright man, okay. I'm going to installing my k-member this winter, so if you wouldn't mind, if you could post back when you get to that point and let me know how everything is working out? I'd appreciate it buddy.

Well i've got everything in, but i've definitlely got issues. The drivers side header lays on the k member before it even full seats. So i've got to space the motor up.

Looks like if that one end of the pipe that supports the motor mount flange was move at a upward angle(toward the k member mount),it would work perfect, whats you take on what I purposed?I been following this thread for a while,as I have a complete mod motor drive train waiting to go in a 86 gt and wanted to use Dave's kit and hp knockoff headers.

I don't see why you don't just put a QA1 in it and be done , the kit was built around it and it works just fine i have one on mine. If i could i would run one of Daves BUT it doesn't fit .

That makes way too much sense to do, it would be way too easy. :bang:

Looks like a solid droped motor mount your using, If that's correct with a standard mount the engine would be 3/4'' higher and the problem solved!

If the standard height mounts don't work out, you can try the moroso box mount that pushes the motor up.
