Found the seat lol some dumbass glanced at it and thought it was a v band so they put it back in the box. :bang: I am 100% sure i have never seen the adjuster though.

Ha i wish i could have done that i think i used 6 u bends or so.

Oh shit mine don't say anything on them!! I guess i wont be making any boost. lol

congratulations its starting to work now , the tuning prolly be a lot more work though , seems to me you picked the right turbo for the job
it could be youre putting to mush oil intoo the turbo , usually theres a restriction hole in the inlet , you could try a needlevalve to finetune the flow untill it stops smoking , youre using a gravety feed to the oiltank , is the tank fitted with a breather ?

I put another pump to pump the oil back to the tank and it slowed down the smoking alot. Ya I'm going to put a breather on my tank asap. I have been researching some and i agree with you that I need a restrictor of some sort. :2thumbs:

i love that you are tryin to get it to go fast with no tuning.....i mean all that work and you just want to toss it away by takin it for a beating with no proper air fuel managmet but a boost gage. oh and thanx for that awsome vid! :2thumbs:

I was actually logging data on my laptop during that video. You have to get on it some when you tune :2thumbs: I only drove it probably 2 miles before parking it.

on low boostnumbers you could get away with one extra injector mounted near the inlet of the manifold and turned fully on or off by a pressureswitch allso tapped intoo the manifold
its gives enough enrichment and the finetuning will be done by the stock computer reading the lambdaprobe
bigger boost moves more air so you need more fuel than the one injector extra can deliver then you need to think about bigger injectors and higher flows/pressures and stuff like that

Interesting idea i will have to look into it more. I will probably put my bigger injectors in and get a boost controlled fpr and see if i can get that to work before i think about another injector.

i believe this was a popular method of fuel enrichment on the old chrysler 2.2 turbo engines. also i think some older turbo cars such as the conquest tsi use a seperate cold start injector that could be used for extra fuel

there was a guy on here that had a great idea.....he used a map sensor and fuel pump controler from a returnless fuel system......this was used to trigger the injector with a ramping fuel rate, it was made outa a bunch of throw away parts from new cars......i think the post was somthing somthing idea ??? any one remeber what i was thinkin here? it was cheap and it looked like it would werk pretty dam good.

sounds interesting , im just wondering if it would work under boost , unless it uses a lambda or a boostreferencethingy
i know they sold boostreferanced regulators with a wipple supercharger in there kits for the LT1 (the one with the electronic carb ) , that way you could keep everything stock and ramp up the fuelpressure when the boost came in

Any more info on this cheap extra injector set up? I found a few places online to buy one of these setups but they are all over $500. Unless i can find a cheap way to do it im thinking an rrfpr and a good tune.

yea use a map from a turbo k car.....it works progresivly, it could be adjusted with a regulator , rember that could be a cheap restrictor or anything toi change the line pressure to this injector.

So i bought a set of vortec re-manufactured heads and I noticed one has been pinned.. I was wondering if this repair is acceptable and will it hold up? There is a very slight ridge that can be felt around the pins... :bah:
