Best Heads For 4 vlave??

    I need to know who has the best heads out there for my 04 cobra?? Ported..

    Depends on what your trying to do, Street car or full out race car and how much money you want to spend. Hell SHM has full race 4V heads for 7495.00 a pair or stage 2s for 2695.00. your call.

    Its full out race, but heres the thing my current heads have some cracks that where ported stockers, would like to buy heads ported with out all the hardware..does anyone sell them like that?

    give Livernois a call had them do me a set of all out race 'B' heads, yet to try them but i have only heard good things.

    That won't work full race heads are going to have bigger valves & seats and better springs , you can't put stockers in a full race head.

    Mine where stockers ported and worked great would like to fine sameones so I can reuse everything else, who does the best job???

    I have the site BUT i was just using it as a example of the prices, your best bang for the buck would be MMR , like John said they have the worlds fastest modular motor and for 3K less becuase of the volume they do.

    MMR, Livernoris, or fox lake are all good. Just have to decide how far you wanna go with them and how much you wanna spend.

    Im not sayiny that your heads are the bomb digity but my heads before they cracked went 8.40s in the heat in junk trackville iowa so I dont know how much better I can get, I am upgrading my 281 to a big bore and XI crank drive, had ysi on before with a sideslinger, went almost 165 with my 04 cobra, I just want to buy something close so I hope all the hype you lead me to believe is true....

    Joe, I got stage 3s with spring upgrades and stock valves. They are off the car if you wanna come see em, very nice!

    Stage 6 R, blah blah blah....this is my opinion, this is his opinion...post up some flow sheets/pics to compare port jobs, application specific data!!! This is a TECH forum right or is it the for-sale section?

    And what is gained from the +1mm upgrade? Any affect on using stock valve seats with larger valves in a high heat, ie. turbo application?
