who is the fastest 6.0ls stock headed/stock crank/truck manifold turbo car?

    like to see some slips, vids etc with car weight.. if anyone has that combo..with single turbo..here my best so far.. 8 passes on new combo.. loose conv..no boost controller.. low boost.. shit tires

    YOU better look up twin turbo zephry on youtube or ls1 tech .... You got some work to do to catch up :doh:

    You do realize that guy went 9.25 at 148 in the zephry (with a bottomend upgrade) and 9.5 in the fox. The OP's 6.04 at 124 isnt too far off those times, infact maybe even faster...I went 6.26 at 113 and ran 9.73 at 142. I say he doesnt have much work to do at all...he's already there.

    The Zeph has gone 8.63@158 for the season best.

    Is this a different car? The last build thread on that Zeph said he went 9.25 at 148 so far with a decent bottom end under it. Did he go back to a stock bottom end?

    8.6 at 158 is moving on stock bottom end...thats insane.

    I believe it is the same block/crank/heads but now with forged rods and pistons.

    I took this thread to mean fastest stock bottom end 6.0...including rods/pistons but title says only stock heads/crank/truck manifolds :)

    meh....ish stock block, stock crank, good rods and pistons, 317s ported/polished. ls2 intake 90mm TB(I think). The old set of heads that were on his mustang are sold. Truck manifolds. MP 70mms.

    yeah you could put that motor in a 1500 lb dragster and run 7's and be a record holder... being in a light Rx7 really helps :)

    I would say FantaZ28, but he only races for money, no clocks. Its a Speed Inc twin truck manifold kit. Stock Block, Stock crank, stock 317 heads, stock intake, stock ECU runs like a bat out of hell

    that's the whole idea when he built the rx7, super cheap, and light!

    he really doesn't have 10k in that car, the car was bought as a home built roller, (and i mean home built), the turbo kit ryan and he built with a 110 weld feed welder, nothing fancy at all.
    he paid 300 bucks for the 5.3 and other than cam/springs/pushrods/ls9 gakets/arp head studs to hold the thing together, the bottom end and heads themselves have 100k miles and really are stock / untouched.
    it is the real deal junk yard built car, he drives and street races the crap out of it too. hell he drives 70-80 miles from KC to topeka to street race and drives home.

    like i tell everybody, "if you build a heavy car to drag race that's your mistake, got nobody to blame but yourself".

    your not even close, 5.3 have gone 8s on stock motors

    if your allowing rods and pistons your talking about bottom 8's high 7 second cars. in the 1/4
    means youll nee some low 5's to get close
