    Ok folks!!!
I have heard good things with these Ebay GT45 turbo's.... With the Size of my engine and the limited room in the engine bay I have concluded that a single is the way to go!
I have been :bang: bangin my head and have found this,

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0309231126&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Has anyone experienced this turbo?? Again, I have seen proven results with the GT45 but nothing on this one. This is the first ebay turbo that I have seen disassembled and measurements taken. Looks pretty good from what I see. Even looks like the same center section as the GT45.

    Can anyone elaborate??????

So 383, or 496? That ebay turbo is only a 75mm inducer........ might work with a 383, but the turbine may be restrictive. Not even close for a single on a 496. I would listen to what others are saying..... 383, and quality turbo(s).

After all the input here and another site I am sticking with the 383 with the forged crank and H-beam rods and forged piston. Will also be using a bottom end girdle for strength. Ported 906 heads with 2.19int 1.81exh valves. Steve Brown cam with good overlap. Remember, this is a 4speed car with 3.55's.

So, your saying this Turbo is too small???

Again, no room for twins. This will be a streetcar.

Keep in mind that twins can sometimes be easier to install because they are smaller, yes you have 2 downpipes to route out but they also will be much smaller, and you don't need a crossover to connect the 2 manifolds.

For a street car, it can be difficult to cleanly route out a suitable DP for a large single turbo.

Guess I will have to go twin. Now, will it be effecient to run both the cold sides into 1 pipe to a 3" intercooler and then 3" to the 4" carb hat?? I feel :stupid: asking all these questions but I have limited room. I guess when your a newbie no question is :stupid:??!!

Hey pick a road and go down it...............haaaaaaaaaa :bang:
I did the same thing with mine until I just pulled the trigger on Twins for the 67 Dart........ almost done as you already know! Take these guys advise it will nickle and dime you to death in the end. A pipe for this a pipe for that, an fittings, V Band Clamps and Flanges etc all that stuff adds up believe me. I am still getting away cheap so far. I got about $1800.00 in the whole set up with 2 Air/Water Intercoolers, heat exchanger, Twin GT45's, 2 60mm Wastegates , 2 50mm Blow off valves , Hallman Variable boost controller, block hugger headers, all pipes connectors and Carb bonnet.......... I still need to buy the Blow Thru Carb and fuel system. That will be an EASY $1600.00 just for that and another $500.00 for the 2 stage meth kit! ohhhhh, Ice Box and Meth aluminum tank COMBO will be another $380.00. Oh yeah I still need the MSD6-2AL Programable Ignition and the map sensor to control timing on BOOST, for another $450.00! Not counting the machine work and parts for the motor!! Ouch

Here is the latest on my 67 Dart TT Progress..... http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=116512

A large portion of that 1600 is fuel system other than the carb. Price out a good fuel pump, or two, a regulator, fittings, and hose, and see what you come up with.

One of the 75mm turbos you stated would be perfectly sized for a 383 street car in the 7-850hp range.....

the single will definetly be cheaper than 2 smaller turbos.....a 3.5" downpipe will be plenty big for this turbo also......

Hell I'm crazy enough to run 2 of them on a 408ci smallblock..though I'm looking for 13-1400 HP. :stupid:

    Yeah,
my quote was a little premature! I seen that after I reread the thread :stupid: I have seen several 750cfm quikfuel blow-thru carbs on ebay for around $600. I have an 850 Holley now that has been setup for blow-thru so I will just disassemble it to make sure all has been done.

@CUUDAK: You need a T6-sized turbine. The eBay link for the GT45 you posted is a T4.

Yes that includes a CSU Custom Boost Referenced ready to go Carb, the Fuel Pump, Regulator and fuel lines and fittings.
There is NO WAY to get around this cost. If you cheap out you WILL Blow your chitt up for sure. Lean it out up top on Boost and BOOM!

I seen a carb hat on ebay that had 2 60lb injectors fabbed into it with a fuel management controller with it. Have you seen anything like that??

I personally am going to try a tv7302 with a T6 1.23 A/R on my 383 that I picked up for $100 shipped off ebay. My guess is that for my heavy, street car it may be a little lazy, but the price was right for a starting point.

After comparing q, and s trim turbines, that ebay turbo may not be all that bad for a mild 383 ........ you just see alot of combos with the BW 83 or 96 mm turbines on engine with 30-50 less cubic inch. Have seen more than a few builds with twin MP t70's on 360+ cubic inch engines that work well. I would spend the extra $250 and buy a BW s475 with the 96mm T6 1.32 ar, and have a quality turbo thats upgradable in the future. I guess it all goes back to how much power you want to make, and at what rpm.

IMO it would be better with a T6 turbine but a T4 will work. Don't know if it will get to 800 HP or not but it will work. I run a 83 trim S400 75mm and it is a very similar sized turbo execpt T6. It has very good spool caracteristics into boost by about 3000 and hold onto your hat from there. I have only really had it up to 8 psi because the chassis on the truck is all over the place at that.
