twin turbo v6 thunderbird

    Very nice indeed. The SC already has beefed up pistons (?)

    ya they do but the new ones will be better because its going to be a 4.3 stroker motor

    i know its taking a long time to finish this thing but when there is no money it get put on hold. im only putting the best parts i can in this thing.. heres a lil update

    Even nicer with a stroker. Good to make it right the first time-even if it takes longer

    i welded the exhaust all up that one more thing checked off the to do list.. i cant waite for it to be done

    Is that a chambered flow master stlye muffler? You might wanna switch to more of a straight threw "bullet" style muffler for more power.

    yes its a flowmaster ..... yes it is a stright throw with a bulit in X pipe dual 2 1/2 in and out .... i heard it before i bought it and it sounded mean.....

    sending off the block to get cleaned and checked for cracks and getting new freeze plugs and cam bearings and 30 over

    rods and new pistons are on there way im using a stock bore and 9.1 compression ... soon it will be running

    got a new cam the 575 was not good for this car now so i bought a 625 lift cam and a 7000 rpm range

    Hurry up so i can see the results LOL! I just flowed my ported single ports and they picked up 50.5cfm on the exhaust and 41cfm on the intake with stock valves and no valve job yet. They flow 207.4-187.0 with stock little valves, no flow tube and would pick up nicely with a valve job and larger valves. I really want to build a turbo 3.8 now.

    lets see if any one can help me ..... my cam is a mid to high cam and i will start to make power at about 3500 rpm and right now i have a 273 gear and i am wondering if i go with 327 gears will it make up the power i am going to miss in first and sec gear .i know 3d is going to be wild and i will be at full boost

    turbos like to be loaded u might try the 273's just because u already have them, just rember though that 273's are going to load the drive terain more than the 327's so the the 273's are gunna be tougher on somethin prob your transmission just my 2cents

    getting ready to send the block back to the shop because my pistons came with out eyebrows so im getting them machined to match my 625 lift cam .... once it come back i will show pic of the motor being put togethere

    Very cool build. Dont these have issues with head gaskets? How is that problem addressed?
