Thanks guys!! Got things torn apart and got the engine out today. I'd say Moroso steel oil pans are badass pieces! Had to cut the crash bar in pieces to get it out of the oil pan. Its amazing to see the colateral damage. I'd go out on a limb and say fender exit headers save lives! :D :2thumbs: Cars not too bad, its just the amount of parts that got damaged is unreal. Coulda been worse but its bad enough for us poor country boys.

Put some "Bull Horns" or "Zoomies" on it, maybe that will help keep the front end down. LOL How do Fender exit Headers save lives????

If it wasnt for the fender exit header slowing the wall impact down it would of been alot worse on the car. Under the fender the underbody structure damage stopped right at the first places I started welding. Didnt even crack the paint at those points. :welder: :chacha:

Thanks Gordon! We just started getting a handle on things and had LOTS of power on the table still. We'll just have to wait till next year to start stretching its legs,LOL.

Hmm After reading your first post..
The first thing I looked at was the rack under the car!!!
Some suspension work and rack protection obviously required...
Could have been far worse!! I just HOPE there NO unforeseen damage !!

Your going to be busy the next few month's..
Ahh well the Mrs knows where you are !!!Lol...
Yes it's good to cuddle Mrs and family when things like this happen !!!

LOL< hindsights 20/20. The rack position was stupid. :bang: We made the rack we had work and shoulda went to a Pinto rack in the first place. Expensive lesson. I knew it could be a problem but figured we'd be "ok" :D Got a Pinto rack mounted on our new Team Z K-member and we now only have to add a little bracing since the pan now hangs lower than the K-member to protect everything.
