I have an hx40 on my build, and it has some form of vband on the discharge of the compressor, i know a lot of guys just run a silicone coupler or grind it down and do the same thing, but is there any readily available v-band to regular piping available? Mine points straight down, i was just wondering if there was a straight section available. I've read about 90 and 45 elbows. The coupler blew off mine at like 6 psi, so im worried it will do it for sure i i step up the boost

Um, please read the post carefully. I have a running turbo setup, I already have the exhaust flanges. I'm looking to redo the intake side where it comes out of the turbo. Its just under 3inch o.d.

What size was the silicone? Im using a 3 inch coupler on the comp vband and its pretty loose. It compresses the tbolt most of the way

the band bead is same od as my tube, i really had to crank down on the other side of the vband and was very skeptical it would work. slipped once around 30psi hairspray held it to 80. you can see the difference on how far its cranked down on the vband bead.

Lucky for you! They are readily available, with clamps and gaskets too! This is a good company for some hard to get Holset parts. I got my marmon flange for me H2E downpipe from them. Good quality and good service.
