First Runs of the year in the 9's-1970 Challenger

    First runs of the year the 4100# Pig runs in the 9's. 1970 Challenger with Small Block Chevy with Twin Master Power T-70'[email protected] 1.56 60'. The car has a full interior.

    Thats cool. Im hoping I can do the same this year. Ive got the rearend back together, $2,000 later so Ill be out there soon. Once again nice time.

    You boys are getting some pretty fast runs going on with your cars! I swear our track is allergic to carbureted turbo cars since nothing seems to run right once it hits the track. Glad to see your getting it figured out and congrats on the 9 second run!

    Marty are you planning to get the bird legal and back out there? I miss that thing. Im going out again on friday the 6th, hoping to get my 6 passes out of the way.

    4100lbs.......come on now...maybe with 2 bigblocks.....and a chevy motor at that :doh:


    besides that nice looking ride and runs good....though appears to need a little suspension tuning.

    The clock at the track is saying 168 MPH :eek:
    Is this right?

    Marty, It took a lot of work to figure out how to make it run decent.Thanks for the advice you have given us over the past few years!

    Sorry for the confusion on the weight of the car, The 4100# is with me in it! With a 1.56 60ft it definitely needs some suspension work.

    168 is not correct, it was 138. Thanks
