9.99 1/4 time! well I hope anyways. I am not worried about a dyno number just want it to perform! Oh and want to be able to drive it everyday if I want to!

this setup is looking awesome! Definately keep taking pics of it as you go. I am getting great ideas here. How much fabbing from the standard twin header sets did Jeff make these for you? I was considering the stage II twin headers he has for my truck.

Looking good gumby.... I made the main part of the headers (header flange, primary tubes, and collector) and that let gumby position the turbo anywhere he wanted.

Seems PhotoBucket says a bunch of your pic's are deleted. Can you PM me some pics of what your doing for your intercooler? I am just assembling a Dart 427 twin 67's and using Pony Downs Headers on a 1979 F-100 and you would think there is a ton of room to put a cooler but there isnt much unless I do 2 smaller ones.

I havent started on the coldside yet but I did fix the pics. . There is room you just have to remember you have more height and width just maybe not the thickness!!

I see what ya got now. Middle plastic piece of the grill on the 79 is thick and kind of slanted . May be stuck doing 2 smaller coolers not a big one. Wicked build!! what you expecting to make for power?

Build looks good...but have you thought about a hard mount for the turbos? My Twin turbo kit had the turbo's out from the headers like yours (mine is a Mustang) and I was CONSTANTLY chasing cracks in the pipes and headers. The combination of launching at the dragstrip and limited dailing driving with heat cycles wrecked havoc on the metal and welds. It could not withstand the weight of the turbo's over the extended pariod.

I too like the 1st Gen lightnings and your truck will make some great power when it's all said and done.

I am wanting 750 rwhp. That will get me some low tens. And then maybe lean on it a little more and get a 9.99 :stupid:

TurboMatt. I was actually thinking the same thing. Was looking at that last night but am gonna wait till have have it all jigged up then I will make me some bracing for them. :welder: Prob just an adjustable strut bar to each flange would prob do the trick

Thanks for the compliments!! You guys wanting to cheat on the build like I did and just build from the headers out the Jeff @ Pony Down can def hook you up!! He has no problems taking the extra time to talk to you to get it sorted for exactly what you need and want!!

it looks as though the power steering pump reservoir is plastic. plan on protection for it.

The insulators at work "SAY" they can build me a turbo blanket that will fit the ps perfectly IF I need it. I think it will be ok. But we will see. If it melts it def gonna be nasty. LMAO. (I use an addidtive that helps raise flash point WAY up there some unless I hit it with a plasma cutter it shouldnt catch fire...) Working at chemical plant has its advantages.

Ha, ha that definitly has it's advantages. I had my power steering fluid catch fire because my turb's were to close. I had it wrapped in heat insulation (power steering pump) but I did not know the power steering pump had leaked some fluid on to the wrap. Needless to say it was the 1st time I got to use my fire extinquisher I had in my trunk...not very much fun

I also decided to put a Volt gauge in the front tank lid esp being nothing was there. The Red Button turns the gauge and the light on( So there is no draw on the truck)

All I have left is the C-notch,Shim the Rear end, New Wideband sensor for the FAST, and a TUNE!!!
