    I had Kendall Machine Co. make me an extension for my BOV.

    i like the build and the car... :2thumbs:

    i had a 86 gt last year and really liked that car but had to sell but am doing a 93 coupe right now and am going with a stock block diy blow thru right now and these builds just pump me up.

    the only thing left to do is get the 45 degree fittings for the carb, modify the throttle bracket a little bit, poor some fuel in it, prime the oil pump and pray nothing leaks and catches on fire. lol i will have a video when the time comes.

    LOL i will have to get right on that. i almost forgot about that :stupid: what was i thinking.

    I just really tired of making them. i have to force myself to make my own. LOL

    well....... :bang: got her to fire a couple of times but the damn starter (brand new) hangs when it tries to run. Im not sure what is causing it. I was having this problem before i ever pulled the motor out to start this project. It actually destroyed my last starter. Nothing has changed on the set up since it WAS starting ok. just one day the old one started hanging like this and then it finally broke the gear off of the starter. I never messed with it again until now. I thought a new starter would fix it but i guess not. Maybe its the solenoid?? :bah:

    enough ranting. guess i will work on it monday.

    :D Got it running today!!!!!!!!!!

    i cant believe it but there was NO LEAKS! NO FIRES!

    I wish i would have had a video camera today but i forgot it. :'(

    It sounds nasty. im so excited. Sounds like its about 400ci. lol

    Ill get a video on here tomorrow. i hope.....(if i can figure out how to use my new camera)

    video sound sucks unless you have ear phones or some good speakers with some bass on your computer!

    ok...a update! had a little trouble with the carb.

    Bumped the timing up to 35(still forgot to look at the initial) - it sounded more crisp got it to idle around 900 but anything below that it would cut off and still no adjustment with the idle mix. screws.

    I was determined that there was something wrong with the carb.....i took the baseplate off and looked at it. I had another old 650 laying around so i pulled the baseplate off it and noticed that the gasket between the main body and the baseplate where different. got to looking closer and the one on the 750BT was blocking some holes. I switched the gaskets and threw it back on the car.

    BINGO Oohyah! runs like a dream!!!!!!!!! idles around 700 and i can adjust the idle mix. screws.

    got the afr gauge figured out....14.3 at idle. 10.6 at cruise and 11.7-12.4 wot. @6psi. with 82's and 92's in the carb.

    Looking and sounding good, how does it pull? Also you might want to lean it out in the cruise region or your going to be having problems with plug foaling and bad mileage, been there done that lol.

    yeh it pulls pretty good for 6psi i guess......its kinda hard to tell because the wastegate opens so soon and it get pretty loud making it not feel as fast. it still has a little skip in it under a load going into boost. if your just roll into it in 2nd running about 30mph it does fine :huh: i know the plug wires have a couple bad spots in them.

    im pulling 2 degrees to be on the safe side for now. what would be the best way to lean out the cruise? go down on the mains?
