whats up Chebby guys! I have gone back to my roots and re-converted back to GM :D After 12 mustangs I have finally smartend up. I am building a 72 c10 with a 454, T400, airride, nice wheels, and eventually when my budget comes back to reality a custom twin kit will make its way to filling up the engine compartment. Just figured I would let the cat out of the bag, I have over 5k in parts arriving this week to get going on this little project :welder: I figure you guys will enjoy it, the 67-72chevytrucks.com guys are a bunch of douchebags; they are miserable old pussy farts. At least the old miserable bastards here are all drunk so they are still entertaining  this truck needs a full rehab, similar to the 72 camaro I have been working on (which I need to update that thread too) but I will start a build when the madness begins and I am going to go like hell to get it done in less than two months!

My grandfather had a '71 long bed, and now that he's gone it just sits in the driveway unless my grandmother needs to make a dump run. My brother and cousin have talked about fixing it up. It is real straight, no rust (shocking I know!), but the painted is foooked. Stock 350, TH350 I imagine, and runs perfect. I wouldn't want to mod it much, but some fresh shiny on it and a frontend/brake rebuild would do wonders for it.

We have been cranking to get mikes camaro done, it got it's final prime tonight. Hopefully by Friday it will be all jambed and we can roll it into the sprayboot and let some color fly this weekend. As soon as that's done it's on like donkey kong to get started on the truck. I actually picked a color today, even though it's jumping the gun a bit; it's a Porsche gray, no metallic. I will be leaving off all the emblems, mouldings and trim. The front bumper and grille inserts will be a satin silver. If all goes according to plan it will be very subtle and classy looking. I dunno if I'm going with 18's or 20's yet. I am afraid the 18's won't fill the wheelwells enough. But I will save quite a few bucks. Ahhhh the difficult decisions in life

I know this is off topic. But this has got to be one of the best TTF quotes I've ever seen.

And I love that year Chevy C10. Simple but a very good looking truck, can't wait to see what you end up with.

That's exactly why I love this place. We can all relate. Plus there's no whining and crying about "bad words" and being a "jerk". Bunch of vaginas. I need about another 3k worth of parts to be able to finish it in one shot, but I've got everything to get the chassis and drivetrain done. Worse comes to worse I'll cruise that bitch sittin on a milkcrate, open longtubes, no hood or fender just because. :chacha:

The best thing to accent a milk crate seat is a vice-grip shifter handle :D
