I have always though it may be easy to move the shocks and mounts to the inside of the frame rails but I have never seen anyone do it. The reason I did not do it is the spring is still left in the way but then again you could probly buy a cheap rear coil over kit for the stock stuff and mini tub it.

the frame is 3/4'' square tubing with 12g sheet metal on the sides the top will be a single piece of 14 gauge with bends to go over the towers and that piece will be riveted on i made some more progress last nite and the heims joints should be in today so i will post some pics later

3/4 square tube is not very strong at all. I've bent it very easily. I'd rethink that shock mount setup if I were you. There are a LOT of forces converging there.

You really don't think that a 3/4" square tube frame with 12 gauge sides is strong enough think about the stock shock towers there just stamped steel im gona tie this shock tower ( sub structure) right to the frame everywhere I can personally I belive it's more than enough please explain why u think it will not make the cut.

Yep, just about anything is stronger than the stock shock towers.
