Hello guys I havnt posted in awhile on here i sorry if im posting in the wrong place. I just got my 1991gt back together and im going to take it to the track this weekend and need some advice on timing and fuel pressure. its a stock block, comp cam, trickflow heads ported and polished 170cc 2.02in 160 exh a cobra intake with a 70mmbbk tb, it has 42lb injectors 255bbk in tank pump and an inline msd fuelpump, mp t76, intercooled 38mm wastegate, open 3 downpipe, 3.08 in the rear with a 26" slick, a spec stage 3 clutch, 5spd. and a mallory ignition like a btm, I currently have the timing at 10* spout in and the btm 2* every pound of boost, and im only running a 5lb of boost. Im not leaving on a 2step yet. Tell me what you guys think it will do

I would say 12.50's and you should be able to pull 1-1.5 degrees per pound timing.

With a slick and 7psi you should be able to grab some hi 11's. Good luck. Keep us posted

PS. FWIW with a 3300lb car (no driver), Slipping clutch, blown HG, performer headed stock cammed 100k bottom end I went 12.6 @7psi. Thats with nitto's. And when I say slipping clutch I mean 4th gear was like a 5000rpm stall converter. You gotta be able to grab 11's :2thumbs:

Ok guys here it goes friday ran into a small problem with the 26" slick one had a crack in side and had a small leak, so I had to borrow some 28" so I was a little nervous on how the car would respond. both passes were on 5lbs of boost rev limiter was at 5700. First pass the car spun alittle. so the second pass I lit the tires up and then it fell on its face! I was leaving at 3000 maybe I just cant drive! lol

    first pass 2nd pass

Not bad at all. I'm sure the 28" tire combined with a 3.08 rear made it pretty touchy off the line. 5 speeds are a bitch. Once you get the boost cranked up with a tune you'll be in solid 11's no prob. Mid 12's with only 5psi is pretty good I think :2thumbs:

with a 26" tire and a 3.27 gear you'll be runnin about 5000 rpm at 120. So if your goin thru the traps around 120-130 you'll be in the low-mid 5000's rpm. That should keep you good up to 600hp
