got my turbo set-up going. first off the car is tuned. i have a question on my set-up, if i have everything i need. the drivability is great, no problems there. when i try to make a pull with the car it won't come out of the 13's A/F. everything that needed attention was replaced. here is a run down of my set-up. stock bottem 302, 210 cc heads, b303 cam, pony down turbo kit, t70. only on 5lbs of boost, and have 40+lbs of fuel pressure. for fuel 36lb injectors, 255 pump, and paxton regulator, c&l meter tuned for blow thru with the propper tube for the injectors. the a/f at ilde is where it should be. my tune is set for 11.7 a/f at wot, but i can't go wot, the a/f's are not good to keep pushing on it. when you make a pull and try to put the peddle on the floor, the car takes a dive, i guess there is a problem there. i need some help trying to figure out if i have something wrong. if my tune was for 10lbs and 110 octane, will that effect me running only 5lbs and 93 octane. im just trying to get everything right before i turn up the boost and take it to the track. one more thing, will rotating the meter help with the way it reads? thanks

Don't quote me but I think the 02 sensors have a big say in what happens till you hit wot, my car ran like shit for 2 years. I unplugged the sensor and the computer goes into default and tuned it with fuel pressure, I also added a resistor in place of the ect sensor the computer thinks it at 180* all the time this helps me out with 42lbs injectors/starting problems. Rotating the maf meter will make the meter read different if there are bends in the pipe by the meter, the air flow may be greater on one side than the other, what did you change if it is tuned? And the injectors are way small. Does it dive on a 1 gear pull or is this 4th gear.

What's your maximum injector duty cycle at under boost? Could be the injectors aren't big enough.

I'm leaning towards injectors or pump. You have a gauge in the car to be sure that fuel pump can keep up the pressure when the fuel is needed?
You said its tuned, was everything good when they tuned it? Did it keep good a/f ratio then?
I would think that pump could keep up at 5lbs of boost but I would wonder at 10lbs or more with that setup.
My buddies 96 cobra(supercharged combo) maxed out a 255 pump making around 450whp.

You say it was tuned for 11.7 afr. Did it use to do that and just recently this has been happening? That would kinda rule out injectors as long as you havent upped the boost since the tune. Maybe check your fuel filters or could be a failing pump.

Make sure your reg. is going up when you give the gas. It should be boost referenced, but its possible to not be working correctly. If the car was running correctly and having 11.7 afr at wot, then now you're prob. having a mechanical issue??? Maybe a new fuel filter wouldn't hurt.

sorry, this is a base tune form an identical car. just trying to figure out why on 5lbs its so lean. fuel pressure regulator dose reference, but even on 5lbs at 45psi it still is lean. pump is a new 255 and new fuel filter. there is no spitting or studdring at all when you try and make a pull. i though my gauge might have been reading wrong. just want to make sure it safe at 5psi, before i go up from there.
