OK so heres the deal. I have been running an Avaiad Dry sump setup. I like it for the superior oiling it supplies, the capability of freeing up some HP, ect. However, the whole kit puts a BUNCH of weight on the front of the car, and worst of all, it fills up the engine bay with a mile of lines, and with a twin setup there are lots of tubing which can melt these lines(even Hypolan) which is a pain in the butt. It also makes the car hard to maintain with the lack of space. So with all of this being said, I am thinking of doing an exterior wet sump with a vaccum section. Leaning towards a Peterson exterior wet sump with the vaccum section and making some sort of a bracket for the pump either on the power steering/AC Compressor location on my teskid block. Or mounting it on the front motor plate somehow. Also gonna need a good oil pan. Anybody have any suggestions, pictures, or advice based on experience with this? My setup is a 4.6/no more than 8800rpm twin 76mm bb turbos. All of the dry sump stuff will be for sale as soon as i get this ironed out. The setup would be great if a guy has the room.

    Thanks, JR

you can run it like the mmr setup, just as an external pump and i believe you can add on more stages to your current setup. the mmr setup is actually pretty nice and takes up virtually no room you just cant run ac.

MMR Hurricane "External" Wet Sump oiling system
This new system from MMR was designed by the Modular experts for the Modular experts. This external system uses a traditional wet sump style pan (not included) to feed oil to engines producing 2500+ HP while still providing adequate flow and volume. Pump features fully (externally) adjustable pressure settings. Kit uses Billet Steel pump rotors and CNC Machined aluminum body, brackets and crank hub (MSD trigger wheel shown but not included or required), includes all hardware, gears, belt and install instructions

Are you talking about a pump that evacuates the turbos, or are you talking about the engine?

I think you're talking about the turbos, so here's how I'm setup.

I don't remember the brand of pump, but it seems to work pretty well.

My one and only complaint is that the pump is kind of loud, so you can hear it running. (And it's on all the time.)

As you can see, it's mounted just below the radiator/fan shroud, just forward of the crank pulley.

I just reread your original post, so I'm thinking you meant a general oiling system for the motor.

    My bad. :)
