It was a company called Dynamic but they were bought out by another company here in Detroit... I don't know who I'm going to use now since they were bought out...

I'll get more pics tonight... The car is at another chassis shop getting work fixed and finish since the other chassis shop neglected a few things...

Cage is scrapped best I could... Going to send it to get media blasted... And repainted when it comes back...

Well here's an update on the car...

The motor turned out to be offset a little... And the crank centerline was too high... So the motor plate wasn't useable and needed to be redone...
    [IMG]#ad

The motor is true in the car and the plate I had wouldn't work... So it needed to be realigned... And needed a new plate...
    [IMG]#ad

The midplate was able to be reused without a problem...

Then engine limiters were made for the motor...
    [IMG][IMG]#ad

The oil pan also needed to be clearanced a little for the new rack and mounts... It was too high a little bit since it was a dry sump pan original made for a Sprint car...
    [IMG][IMG]#ad

Now in the back of the car a bar was ran from the cage to the coilover bar to help brace it...
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]#ad

Now there was also a bar ran from the coilover bar to the parachute mount to help re-enforce it for the dual parachutes....
    [IMG][IMG]#ad

Driveshaft loops were also installed... Two of them...
    [IMG][IMG]#ad

Now first before I go into this next part... If someone at Chassis Engineering reads this... I have a honest to god question that nobody in your shop still can answer... How can you guys sell a "Wheelie Bar Kit"... With no Wheelie bar wheels?! And this is suppose to be your top of the line kit too..

Now on to the bars... They are going to be 90inches long... The bars are made out of 1-1/2"x.065 moly tubing and all of the brackets are also moly. It uses 5/8'' thread x 1/2" hole moly rod ends all around...
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]#ad

And the wheels that don't come in the kit...
    [IMG]#ad

Master cylinder was suppose to be put in the floor but can't be due to one of the cage bars running across the floor... So for now it will be in the stock location...

    Here's better and updated pics...

    Parachute air cylinder
    [IMG][IMG]#ad

The parachute is a custom peice that's real thick so the cylinder tab was just welded right to it... Also a handle stop was welded in so the cylinder doesn't send the handle through the windshield... Or in the event of a failure if I were to slam on the handle I don't send my hand through the windshield either...
    [IMG]#ad

The fiberglass dash mounted and held in by dzus fasteners...
    [IMG][IMG]#ad

The top side of the dash where the pillar bars come down had plates welded around the bar so if I wanted to fill in the dash area and paint it I have some backing...
    [IMG][IMG]#ad

Here's better pictures of the dual parachute mount completely finished...
    [IMG][IMG]#ad

And the wheelie bars completed and mounted to the car...
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]#ad

Next on the list is to get the cowl cut out and make it a removeable one peice or I might just have it smoothed over... Also to get the engine bay ready to go under the knife...

Time to fire this project back up and get it moving...

Was bored one day so I quickly went over the engine bay and sanded down a few areas to fill in...
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]#ad

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]#ad

Nothing too crazy... Just figured I do something and kill some time...

So then I tried putting the Danny Bee belt drive cover on... For some reason my 4 lower mounting holes were 3/8's and the rest were 7/16's... Why? Don't have a clue...

So we had to drill out the 4 lower holes... (Thanks Pb)... Time to fire up the bridge port...
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]#ad

Then attached the cover to the block and layed it in the engine bay... And put the limiters back on...
    [IMG]#ad

Tomorrow night is to drill the intake out and weld in the injector bungs... Stay tuned... :help:
