I got the Cutlass out on the Highway on Saturday for a short trip. Just amazing how clean and smooth it runs... Shifted the gearvendors unit into overdrive and was cruising @ 60 MPH with the tach reading 2200 RPM. Rolled into the throttle about halfway and wow, the thing pulled like crazy for a couple seconds then I lifted. Slowed back down to 60 MPH and rolled into it again to about half throttle. The engine was sounding awesome but didn't seem to be pulling as well as before... about that time I felt the rearend start to move around a bit so I lifted and felt the car snap back straight.

I got back home and a friend (who was behind me on the highway) called and said I left about 20 feet of black mark on the highway. Don't get me wrong; I know turbos are the thing but the throttle response of that little blower is really something.

I usually don't play around on the street at all but with some good fuel in the tank, I had to give it a little peddle. The car is just too loud plus you got the other idiots on the road. Man it's going to be a long WINTER!!

Nothing like finishing a car right before winter. If I were you, I'd be thinking seriously about driving down south to run TNT somewhere. I want some video dammit!!!

Gives all winter for small tweaks and not the thrash that so many do in March/April.

And Tim.. Turbo's are not always "the thing" I definitely miss the little blower I had myself... I dunno
