Looks good to me! I'm using the same turbo, in a similarly bootleg car :D

    Old turbo...

The builds I REALLY like to see are the ones where people show what they can build, not how much money they spent

^^^^speeddaddy seems to have the most "gt45's" on ebay.

To the guy with the twin chevy making 900whp (or anyone else running these turbos) I would like some more feedback, videos ect. That video of your car looked sick! How much power do you think these turbos could support in twin form or single even.
That video makes me actually want to buy a pair of these and swap out my precision 60mm's.

1 turbo is good to 800-900 hp on a healthy 350.

I'm seriously considering two of these turbos.
Anybody wanna give me a ballpark on what you think spool rpm would be with two of them on a 434ci sbf windsor, 225 heads, and supervic intake, 9.2-.9.5:1 compression, th400 trans.
    Thanks guys.
Also anyone with any other feedback running these turbos please give us up to date info about how long you've ran them and whatever else info you can provide about your setups and spool times, power, 1/4 or 1/8 times or just general this think f'en rips feedback.
That would be great as I'm sure everyone who clicks this link when something new is posted is hoping to get that sort of info, I know I am. Thanks to all who have been sharing so far, keep it coming. :2thumbs:

It spools a lot quicker than I expected. What Summit cam is in it (I/E @ .050" duration)? What is the static compression with the GM 040 heads?

the cam is the 224 224 duration im still using stock rockers im sure if i change it to some roller rockers with 1.6 ratio it would work a lil better..

as far spool time i also think since im using E85 fuel thats helping it spool a bit faster since it needs about 30% more fuel than regular gas..

im guesstimating my compression ratio to be 9.0-9.5 :1 with the 040 heads..

as far as the guy asking about the 434 i think u should be able to spool two of them.. especially if u go E85 or methanol (M1) then for sure ull be able to spool them..

i would recommend buying the one chacata had posted.. but what i did i just bought the 3.5vband and milled it down to 3.25 where it connects to the turbo.. seems to have worked ok..

well i finally boosted 12psi man was it moving :chacha: .. this stupid thing works better than i thought, too bad my motor is all worn out.. its burning oil and has lots of blow by but its runs great under boost lol... well i think im done testing with this old motor im going to try put a decent 350 together.. hopefully with no blow by it will run better :2thumbs: ....

I am looking at running a pair of these on my 55'. My friend wants to buy my 62-1's.

Think they would work better on a street car than the 62-1's with a .96 a/r?

    462ci BBC
    7.52:1 compression
    224/232@50 112 lobe cam
    ported oval port heads
    carb'd blow through setup
    Th400...

It depends what you want. My calcs. estimate it to _start_ spooling at 4500 RPM with the right cam. If it were my setup I would stick with the 62-1's

The China GT45 CW probably flows a max. of 75-77 lb/min. The 62-1 probably flows around 62 - 65 lb/min. I think the GT45 exh. side is just too large for your setup.

With that low a compression and planning it to be a street car simply forget about this turbo and go with the two 62-1's
