I witnessed something that I will never forget.....

Last week my wife tivo'ed an episode of "secret lives of women", mothers of murderes or something, and the dudes mom was on there that did the shooting. That guy was really unstable.

 

Pantera still one of my favorite bands.

I wish I could have witnessed his birth instead of his murder.

 

As a side note I have started regularly playing guitar again. I didn't realize how much I missed it.

I live in Arlington Texas, close to Vinnie Paul house.

 

Vinnie and Dime hung out with a few of us outside a couple hours before the show. They were very cool.

 

i meet vinie at the clubhouses really nice guy told him we came down from st louis to go there.talked to some bouncers at another stripclub they said dimebag would go to local clubs and set in with the band and get tanked they would get him in his car leave the keys on the dash to let him sleep it off

 

so he was murdered i take it? who is he, cuz i dont know for sure.

wow thats fucked up. wish the guy that shot him would have gotten pump him in the ass prison sex instead of death.

 

Good. I sprained my wrist. So at the moment, all I can do is look at my guitar and daydream. Sometimes, I think I hear it call out to me.

As for Dimebag, it's still very sad. He was a super mega fucking freak talent. His technique and ability to play multiple styles is still unsurpassed. Not to mention all the freaky sounds he could pull out of a guitar.

 

I started playing in the garage one night with some friends. My son heard us playing and came out to see what the racket was. My wife said he watched us for about 20 minutes mesmerized. I was so into it I didn't even realize any of my family was watching. It was very threaputic.

I just wish I could make some of the sounds dime made. The man will go down in history as one of the best ever.
