sorry to hear Tim!! It sucks but at least your fine. I was always one of those guys who never wanted to spend alot on safety equipement, that was untill July 2nd, when I put my car into the wall at about 150mph. car made a hard left crossed the center and ran strait into the wall. Destroyed the entire front end. I suffered a pretty major concusion from the impact. The impact was so violent that the cross bar the seat and belt was tied to actually bent forward just enough and allowed my head to make contact with the cage. I was out for only a split second but the effects are lingering. If i was wearing a neck restraint I would have been fine. We are rebuilding and I can assure you that in the late Spring when I come back out, I will wear one!! And my 10 point cage will be upgraded to the new 25.3 spec.

I am sorry to hear that. I have always tried my best to get the stuff I need to be as safe as possible. It only takes a split second for you to need every piece of safety equipment.

I also wear a nomex (sp) head sock to keep my face safe in case of a fire. You would be surprised how many racers ask me what is that for, and I say if I am going to save anything from a fire, I want it to be my face.

Again, sorry to hear it, get the car back together and go over all your safety stuff and good luck getting back on the track.

Shitty deal Tim, good thing you're OK. Car doesnt look too bad, just some time & a little $ to get her right back to where she was.

See, when you go the turbo route you start making real HP....and all this chit happens!

Sorry to hear/see the bad news Tim. I know (thru Bill Wolf) how hard you've been working to get the car down the track and now this. It's got to be frustrating. I'm certainly glad to see your alright, hang in there, you'll get things turned around.
