I have a dual chamber (if thats what its called) 1.84 a/r exhaust housing. I plan on putting the turbo on my 351 drag car, but the a/r is to high. Can I block one side of it to cut the a/r in half? Yes this is a stupid question, but I/m new to turbos and this site.

What type of housings are best for street, drag, and cubic inches

Thanks, and sorry if I wasted your time

if you block halfit will make it around .90 but buying the $500 flapper would be retarded imo, that 500 should goto the right turbo.

yeah, I'm not gonna buy the flapper. I'm just gonna start with this turbo and when I get around to it get something more suited for my application. I picked up the turbo for a pretty cheap price thats why I'm looking to make it work before I spend alot more for the right one right now.
