I also fonished up mocking the headers. Collectors and v bands are on now. They are boxed up and headed north for :welder:

The rest of the work I did today was just taking off the intake and fitting the Victory Jr. Now I have to find a vac source for my head lights and other things. I might use the 1/4 fitting in the center rear of the new carb I just got. The intake has no vac ports at all.

I got my headers back from my brother. He spent 10 hrs welding them. He did a great job!

Looks good! Forget the haters, it's not their car. You'll notice you haven't found a single one on here yet. To me, the value of Vettes increases when they are actually driveable and enjoyed regularly. Keep the updates coming!

By the way, 100% AWESOME JOB on the headers!!! :2thumbs: :welder:

He spent 10 hours on that set? I hope that was not continuous?!?!?! Might have been REALLY tired afterwards!!

Yeah my brothers did do a great job. He spent most of a weekend on them. Welding and grinding. I had the easy part of fabbing them up. If I only had a TIG!

Started to work on the hot side today. I made the Y with the t4 flange. Ever try to put a 3in round pipe in a rectangle.....it sucks....I had to beat the shit outta it....but it came out ok to say the least. ;)

Here is the new turbo placement and I think this is what im sticking with. Ill have to put 2 fans on either side of the turbo to cool the motor.....

Here is the HOT side complete all except for the wastegate and that will be placed at the merge. I'm just poking alone as I get time and :spend: :drop:

    I found a 5" cowl hood also.

    Enjoy!

Hows it going everyone........... I may be pulling the plug on ths build and going back NA. :'(

I've come pretty darn far and spent a good deal of money so far. Now unfortunately I've had some medical bills come up :blah: .... :bang:....we all know what happens then. So its time to man up and do what I gotta do.

Any how she will be going back to a healthy NA motor. :booty:

I would like to thank everone that has helped me along the way. I'll be around just not turboed.. :stupid: .. I can promise I'll still be able to smokem with what I got left.

    Later,

    Randy :drunk:
