Keep the pics comming!!! engine looks great :2thumbs: Also good choice with the k-member... My junk looked like that 2 years ago and its still on jack stands!!!! :bang: Not sure why Mike93svt has an issue with the C4???? www.creperformance.com has set all kinds of records last year with a C4 in John Mac's nmca racecar. Hell you try to lay down 1.29 60ft times with a drag radial, It's alot harder than you think..... My point is there's nothing wrong with the C4 if it's built correctly. At least you didn't use a T5!!!!!! Good Luck with your build and I hope it will be complete before 2 years

HA its already been two years!!!! :ras: as for the rest of the car, the idiot I bought it from did rattle can primer over the whole car :bang: but im really going for a sleeper look that's why i, sticking to the pony's and 5/8" wheel studs. once it running its making the two hour drive to my uncles in KS to get a stockish looking paint job. Blue Granite Metallic (chevy color) i figured if im really going for low nines on radials i'll need the c4. and its a PA performance C4, ready to handle 1000hp. and yes the pic will be coming!

I have to ask how you got an X cellerator to cover the ports on a set of R's? I tried and there was 3/8" of port not covered by the intake.

Prob because you've never had a c4 apart to see it's weak internals and small clutches. Sure so and so has gone x.xx with a c4 that's rebuilt every single race. It's comical that people buy into that PA 1000hp crap, because I can assure you that a c4 over 600 on the street will need to be rebuilt often. Ask the other tm members that have had c4's fail at that power level on the street. They just don't have enough surface area in the clutches, and unless you drop some serious coin (>3k) on aftermarket internals, you're pissing in the wind.

Sounds like it's going to be a killer build, I would start thinkin about another transmission because ti sounds like that will be your limiting factor.

Where'd you get flanges for the tfs-r exh pattern? That car should roll out!

Ponydown made the turbo headers... and I've already promised if this transmission goes a powerglide is going in, period. I just got a great deal on the transmission that's why I went with it, I had it all to do over again, powerglide would be in the car.
