made some good progress on motor. got short together and started putting together heads but am going with different springs than the ones that came with my 510/510 cam. hopefully i will have the motor ready to drop in this weekend but we will see. had to make a cam button to use the old gear drive but it is the "dirtiest" gear drive ever so out the door goes the sleeper

so today i bit the bullet or whatever that means and bought some prothane mtr mounts and some 1.510 springs for the brodix heads. i buttoned up the bottom end and welded on the pick up for the high volume oil pump and put on the pan. i also cleaned up the heads and am going to throw them on tomorrow. pics to come...

 

i forgot to take pics of the frame an where i had to trim it up and box it. also where the firewall was "massaged." but got some shit done . wiring is finished for the msd and i also ran the cooling system. used a jegs rad 22x19 and made my own alum. mounts. used a long pump and have clearance for fan but ofcourse will be tight. painted headers and valve covers and also started running fuel system. took apart trans i got, some jack ass left a fresh trans with the pan half bolted on so water made its way in. helped a friend build her 2nd gen dsm so she is giving me her five stars so i got another set of wheels. i also waxed one of the fenders just to see if the paint would shine. n e way here are mad pics
