I have been fighting a stumble problem on my car for quite some time now and today I decided to take the filters off and clean them. They were really dirty. Well, I had replaced the radiator a few months back and it makes it nearly impossible to take off the drivers side filter, with the way my turbos are set up. I decided to just leave them off and put metal screens over the inlets. With no other changes the car runs WAY better now. I'm hitting 10 psi at half throttle and it pulls pretty decently with AFR's around 11.5, barely any stumble. WOT is pig rich and stumbles and backfires out the exhaust and AFR's read 10.0....that's as low as my gauge goes. Anyone else ever have this problem? I also decided that I want to go with some bigger turbos or a single, it has small ass t3's on it now, which is why I belive I am hitting 10psi at half throttle.

An air filter is a device which removes solid particulates such as dust, pollen, mold, and bacteria from the air. Air filters are used in applications where air quality is important, notably in building ventilation systems and in engines, such as internal combustion engines, gas compressors, diving air compressors, gas turbines and others.

putting metal screens in place of the filters would not cause you to run rich

I just got off the phone with the owner on that website, I basically told him that if he continues this spaming shit, we will retaliate in full force by calling them non stop and tieing up . He did not seem to like that. Seems ther is a company out there that gets paid by companies like that filter place to do this shit.

Dude...I swapped my k&n for one of those blue home filter screens and picked up like 10hp :D

On a serious note, that filter is rediculously clogged or is undersized. Am I'm curious as to how it would run richer with more air consumption.
