went to the track yesterday, Steele.

First time down the 1/4 mile:

    9.82 @ 136.8 1.40

Still on the stock block. Bad stuff usually happens on that last 1/8 but it sure was fun running the 1/4 mile.

Sure did, I killed the head gasket on the passenger side. It blew to the outside though, so I was able to limp it home without a trailer.

I'm trying to get my turbo notch finished. You may not remember me. I had the silver 03 cobra with flames that ran 10.0s. I now have a 91 with just about the same combo. I'm going to try to make it to steele this weekend. I need to see what it can do...

I cant make it this Saturday I've got to work. I'll try for the next though.... I could have sworn I saw you @ bowling green this last couple weeks. Your car ran a 9.00 in the quarter.... Or at least I think it was your car...

There was a big local race here and we just decided to stick around. I wish we would have made the trip now. Heard there was alot of impressive cars there.

no video but there will be this weekend. You gonna show up?

Nope they look alot alike but his much nicer and much, much faster. I think he is from GA, badass car for sure and drive it anywhere.

    It went 6.17 @ 113.8 with a 1.40 60 ft just couldnt get the low 60ft again. I think it will go some 6.0's with a good 60. Need a couple more mph's for a 5.

    update from yesterday:

    6.04 1/8
    1.35 60 ft
    115 mph

    9.49 1/4
    140.8 mph

If this thing will ever run a 5 sec pass I will consider this build thread done and start a new one with the Dart block 306 that I have waiting in the garage (powerglide will be behind it). The T72 will prob be switched out for an 80 then also.
