Single 88 on a SBC

    What would be the best cubic inch motor for this combo and what kinda Hp numbers could you expect. Lets say with the proper head/cam /compression combo being optimum. Air/water inncooled on q-16.

    An 88mm setup works well from 350cid to 400cid. It works especially well with the 377 and 383 mills...
    We usually see from 1100 to 1200 flywheel horsepower. A smaller, high winding engine can push those numbers up by about 8-10%
