    - midpipe 99% complete. Just waiting on last flange so it can be welded in and be complete
    - Cold side 100% completed, bov and all (MUCH more tucked up than pictures portray. Just a funky angle to make it look so low)
    - Misc. Brackets painted

    - rad piping began (center stainless piece will be longer...less rubber hose)
    - intake done
    - stuff painted and such
    - other little things buttoned up

    Getting close!

    - top rad piping completed
    - bottom rad piping completed

Once everything is painted/heatwrapped, engine bay will clean up very nicely

The bracket for the kickdown is a kit sold specifically for the ls motors. It comes with everything to bolt right up. Unfortuantely, I forgot the brand name. Bowtie overdrive or something like that maybe?

Car is not running just yet. I shuold have it running by next weekend.

Yeah, if I get a TB in hand so i can set up the kickdown. Trailer's ready.

I can't wait to see what she does.

Got yours done but mine still sits idle.

    - Primered hood bolted to car, will need decent amount of modification to fit properly
    - 98 throttle body installed
    - Kickdown bracket installed to 98 throttle body
    - Corvette covers rigged up for a semi decent picture

    Crappy blackberry picture quality

I had some issues with cooling and ended up cutting a 2"x20" rectangular hole in the center of the bumper. Didn't look as bad as I thought it would. But I don't ever see over 190-200 even on a 100+ degree day.

    Lookin sweet!

I'm not thinking heat will be an issue. I'm going to have a few tricks to guide air to the radiator. I've seen people cut the bumper like you said, I'm going to TRY and avoid that if possible. I think it's easily doable.

You may be suprised how much air is needed, but good luck to you, I'd hate to see another bumper get the axe treatment. It looks really nice the way it is! I had a 3 core alum griffin radiator and a 90 amp 2700 cfm fan with schroud and couldn't keep my little 6cyll coo.l I think the the huge IC mounted up front was blocking most of the flow. I was ichy for days after cutting through that glass bumper! :D

haha that's a bummer, hope it works out for me. My fan is very high flowing, don't remember how strong it is thuogh. It cooled the n/a setup fine...which means nothing. I've got a griffin race radiator in there with the same fan and I've got room to add a pusher fan up front if necessary. I know the itchy feeling you're talking about, I had to cut the bottom of the bumper to fit the intercooler.

    - Purchased and installed transmission cooler
    - Relocated top rad. brackets inwards to slide the radiator to make room for the trans lines
    - Trans cooler lines ran (fastened to cooler but not trans yet)
    - Installed new intake elbow (without hole drilled for IAT sensor)
    - Installed hood pins (SCARY drilling into a hood!!)
    - Purchased fittings (albeit the wrong ones) for the trans cooler lines off the trans
    - Changed oil (weird feeling!)
    - Installed (relocated) coolant overflow

    Sweet build!
If you have cooling probs, it looks like you've got plenty of room for a taurus fan in there.

I've also got a pusher fan that I can probably squeeze in there. I'm hoping obviously that this will be ok but we'll see. The fan I have in there is a large mr. gasket fan that was used for my car n/a and it held up great. Obviously it's a different animal now with the intercooler and turbo.
