There's a grey line here... do you consider supporting mods to be included? Such as fuel and ignition? Tuning, etc? All of this stuff adds up fast and can end up costing as much or more than the turbo kit itself.

For me, the cost of turbo kit alone was around $3000

    turbo - 315
    t6 flange - 25
    drain lines - 72
    DP flange - 60
    5" 90* bend - 55
wastegate (from previous build but 150)
feed line (from previous build, dont remember price)
wideband (had it from N/A setup, but still a necessity )300
    boost guage - 30
    injectors - 350
    fuel pumps - 200
into all the piping, etc including headers and everything for turbo kit - 350
    intercooler setup-200

thats everything for just the turbo kit, so about 2k right there. If i had a smaller turbo, i coulda had a LOT cheaper downpipe lol

well im sure im not totally a diyer here, but its really pricey depending on power your after

    my fuel pumps 800 bucks,
    turbo was 1000+
    trans is 3299
    convertor is 1200
rearend and suspension around 2200-2500 for custom ladder bars and fully adjustable coilovers a steal of a deal
    wheels 1000,
    brakes, 1400
engine to start with 2000 before rebuild and rotating assembly, so probably 5k and thats being pretty conservative
    cage around 2500-4500
    driveshaft 500
miscelanious, fuel lines 200, seats 350, gauges 500-700, brake lines for entire car 300, exhaust piping fit n finish 1000, water pump radiator fans hoses 1000 etc...

I only have ~$1500 in the actual turbo system headers/hotside, turbo, wastegate, bov...etc. I have another $1500 in the fuel system though. Now I have to build a transmission too.......a budget turbo build is a fairy tail.

You'll have a lot more into it then you think you will, especially when you account all the trips to the parts stores and nickle and dimeing yourself to death.

    Just some quick figures:

    BOV and wastegate- 400
    Fuel pump- 100
    Injectors and MAF- 700
    Turbo-650
    MSD- 200
    Piping/clamps/vbands/couplings- 200 to 400
    Intercooler- 250
    Moates Quarterhorse- 250
Binary Editor and EEC Analyzer- 140
    Battery relocator/boost controller- 110
HEAT PROTECTION!!- You'll spend a good amount on this, as I am finding out right now. I have crossover/downpipe wrapped and a turbo blanket and I still need some kind of high temp wire loom cause the old loom is starting to melt.

spark plugs, bolts, 1,000,000 trips to parts store, shipping on all those parts, etc. a couple hundred more I'm sure.
