Saw the link at Moates.com and saw quarterhorse. Full tuning capabilities. Was wondering if anyone have any experience with it?! All that I need now is a tune for my car, and so far SCT is the only choice but really do not want to pay 200 for every tune that I will need..

I got one on the way. Should be here tomorrow. I don't have any experience with a Tweecer or similar device so it will be a big learning time but I'm looking forward to it. Although I won't be able to mess around with it for another 2 weeks because I will be heading back to school from spring break here soon. I'll let ya know how it goes, but I've heard good things!

I have a tweecer r/t now. The quarter horse is tempting, but I don't like how it only holds 1 tune. I would just about sell my tweecer for one.

A friend of mine is beta testing one and having some issues with the datalogging function (timing out), but he thinks it might be in his connections. The tuning aspect is 100% dead-on... and it's real-time, unlike the Tweecer. I'm getting one for my DD very soon.

I like the real time tuning and that its not locked to a certain pcm and can be used on EEC4 or EEC5

I am selling my SCT XCAL so I can buy the QH and the BE for the software. What the hell, right? Do not really want to spend 200 a pop every time I change crap on my car... So I just hope I sell it soon..

send an email to , He has been tuning with the quarterhorse ever since it was released. He did some R&D on it with Moates. The quarter horse is awesome and by far the best tuning tool I have seen in quite awhile.Moates has got something there.

Since my last post I received the quarterhorse and have been messing around with it a bit when I'm home from school. I've got the car running decent, just need to do a bit of tweaking to the injector slopes/breakpoints and MAF curve. This thing is definitely a sweet tool to have though. Although the learning curve is pretty steep, I'd recommend purchasing one!

    Hello John,

thanks for help. Here in Germany I am the first who use the QH.

The software was the key. When I open the EEC editor that I download from the Moates page I have the Ostrich and the Burn1 pics but not the QH pic. With the Tuner Pro Rt ans the BinEditor I can see the QH but this programs I have only in free demo downloads.

I thinking to buy the BinEditor and the EEC Analyzer ore this version of the EEC Editor:

    What software you use ?

i use a QH and it works awesome. better than the tweecer RT.
main difference is the datalogging with the QH is lightning fast and the real time updating is sweet.

only thing is that out of box you have one tune to work with.
you can swap tunes quickly with your laptop connected.
BUT there is support so you can wire in a switch and have a switch like the tweecer did. I havent done that so i dont know whats involved.

    Hello,

problem found the Firefox will not download the latest update of EEC Editor. With Explorer no problem and yet comunication will work.

I thinking to buy the Binary Editor it looks much more comfotable.

    Udo

Edit:The QH is an amazing tool I buy the BE and together it is very easy to use. Only thing is that I dont now how the switch knob works. You have four tunes in the QH but the knob have eight positions and I can use only one in all others only fuel pump runing. But this will only setting I think.
