I have a classic fast system Im going to install on my 5.0 mustang with a single 70mm turbo. I daily drive the car all summer and was wondering if and what ignition upgrades im going to need. Currently the car will be stock block and 9-10lbs, I might add a cam and heads with an intake before I rebuid it. When I rebuild the motor its going to be a 331 with a boss or dart block. Do I need/can I install an MSD Digital 6 with correct coil? I ask these questions since this is my first car with a distributor. Will this box work and is it a good choice for a street car with a 5 speed? Any advice/ suggestions are great and I thank you in advance.

You can use just the ECU, it will run your stock ignition with a TFI. However, it may not be a bad idea to go with a little spark amplifier like a 6AL or something comparable.
I drove my car, XR4ti with the Gen 7 on it daily for 4 yrs, no problems, other then the car falling apart
