87 5.0 MP T-70 fired it up but keeps stalling?

Hey guys, I finally got my 87 fired up but I cannot get it to idle on it's own, I have to sit in the car and keep giving it gas. The car fires up right away and idles for 10-15 seconds before stalling, I never had idle problems before the turbo install. What could be causing this? I should mention I started it up at 10pm and wasn't able to let it get up to operating temperature.

The setup is fairly basic, stock motor MP T-70, B&G hotside, 255 lph pump, #42's, BBK fpr, 3923 plugs, pro-m 80mm cal. for #42's with *8 initial timing and lc-1.

    Any help is appreciated.

Need more info. What is your tps voltage?what is fuel pressure?did it have mass air before?does it still have o2 narrow band o2s?What computer?(a9l,a9p,ect.) Persost onally i would get rid of the bbk pressure regulator and pick up a boost reference one like the Kirban.

You said stock engine? Not that it's your problem but a 3923's are for a 3/4 reach head not a stock 1/2 reach also there is a tapered vs gasket seat.

You need to check for vacuum/air leaks first. If there are no air leaks, I would put the MAF right on the TB and see if it will run then. If you want to take it a step farther you can put a multi meter on the signal return. If the MAF isn't getting good signal you can rotate it on it's axis depending on how the airflow vs sample tube relationship is. It the MAF voltage drops out to with the engine.
As far as TPS it needs to be below a volt to enable idle control.

    Just some ideas...

Thanks for the replies, I found the problem, seems my BOV vacuum line came off so i just popped it back on and success! Car idles decent now, but won't get up to full operating temperature (180*), it gets to about 155-160* and this takes a while since its -10 where i am. I don't think the computer is getting out of open loop because my wideband is steady at 11.5 a/f, I guess i'll have to switch to the stock 190* thermostat...any other suggestions?

BTW i may have gotten the plug part number mixed up, I'm pretty sure I have the 3293's, one heat range colder than stock.

What head are you using? a stock head uses an autolite 23. Most aftermarket heads use 3/4 reach gasket seat plugs like 3923's
