1991 Z28 S400 SBC Blowthrough

    sure has/had a lot of nice pieces for the build. - Life get's in the way sometimes as I'm sure we all know.

    Hope to hear more from the original poster....

    That would be a crap load of work. You'd have to use the late-model column(easy part) and carry over all the body control computer/wiring/sensors/etc. More head-ache than it would be worth IMO.

    haven't given up on the build just yet... might go turbo later, just trying to get the car together and running, ran into "eyes bigger than my stomach" type situation. So it'll be a while before i can go turbo, however most all the other parts are still on the car. Couple updates..


    bumpstops....optional!

    ah, the infamous 3rd gen bumpstop "mod"... did you weld a panel in there or just leave it open? Even though the stock piece is tin, it is stamped to help stuctural integrity. I'd weld a filler panel in there.

    there will be a filler panel put there, i still have some other cutting to do to the front inside corners, it will look like xp3ndbl's wheel wells when i get done.

    nice build man, sad that you got rid of that turbo...i am doing the same turbo on my 87 iroc...and i woulda liked to see where you were puttin it....im still a little stumped on my placement....
