Hey guys I have been lurking around this site and asking questions for a couple years now. I decided that it is finally time for me to make a build thread. The car is a 67 Nova with a 4 link and a mustang 2 front end. I got all of the chassis components from checkered racing except for the cage which is from chassis engineering. I plan on installing my 406 sbc n/a to get the car sorted out before stepping up to a 406/s480 combo. The transmission is a th400. I have a lot of work in front of me but I guess you have to start somewhere!

Here are some pics so far:

So, if you are building the 67, then are you going to sell that 61 that's hiding in the pictures? ;)

The outside pictures are from the shop where I used to work at. The 67 is in my garage now. While there were other cars there I do not believe that any of them were a 61 ;) but I could be wrong haha. In any case they are all long gone.

Sadly enough I am not great at bodywork. But i have a bunch of $$ set aside for it. Im only looking to get it into primer anyway. I have done most of the work so far. i bought it as a shell that had completely rotted floors and no front end.

A good friend of mine told me before i started the build that it was better to way overbuild the car than to break something and have to upgrade it later. I am hoping that once it is done that the chassis will be enough for anything i throw at it! Thats also the reason i went with 35 spline axles lol. thanks for the input everyone

Sometime's it good to go overkill on the parts. You never know what motor or setup u will go too.
