whats your plans for the ignition?

 

406 , canfield 220 heads , super victor intake
shooting for 9-1 compression
i dropped of the engine and tore it down , looks like it will need no major machine work
it was 11-1 so i am going to swap out the pistons and get a cam ground for it
it already has h-beam rods , a steel crank and oliver billet caps , cleaning the deck up a little so i can use cometic gaskets and cleaning the bore up
right now i have a 6al , but i may try a mallory 685 , i have used them numerous times on nitrous engines and have worked great

i cut up the rad support and inner wheel well today , kind of mocked the turbo up in the front passenger side area , to get an idea on how big i have to make the mounting bracket , no pics yet

 

Nice list of ingredients you got there! Should make alot of power. Similiar setups @ 3500 lbs have gone sub 6s in the 1/8th with the BW turbo peaked out.
Very impressive in deed.

from what i can tell quick79 had a very similar combo , if i can run high 9's on pump gas , i would be very content

i am hoping a small turbo may be allowed at the no time nationals next year in bugs , but i'm not counting on it
mostly just a cool fast street car to cruise around run test and tune and a little grudge racing

 

well thats what i have,the 1 that e-bays sales. but these are all modified with a cross ova pipev-band . all you might have to do is change the t-4 flange into the t-6. its all done with 304 ss all tig welds, ready ceramic coating. pm me if youre intersted. im in long island ny!
