I just swapped my vented race byspass for one that I can recirculate with. How do I set up the new valve as far as the adjuster stud on the top. My old one opened up farther than this one does right now. Just curious.

Most leave it at the factory preset position. Although it may not open as far it will move more air due to its "open" design than the vented design. Running the set screw in delays the opening time.

I Think He Means He Has The Enclosed "Recirculator Type". I Also Noticed That On My Procharger Enclosed Race Valve. The Valve Doesnt Come Close To Opening As Far As The "Open" Body Race Valve. I Adjusted My Spring Pressure With A Vaccum Gauge And Tester Based On My Engine Vaccum Readings. Evey Engine Is Different Though

I've always used a hand-held vacuum tester and adjusted bypass valves to open start opening between 3-5 inches of vacuum for quick response.
