I thought I post up some pics for everyone to critisize. I traded the ol Cutlass for this car and have now started another build. I got this car and ran it on motor one time and then proceded to tear it down to nothing but a shell. I removed 53 lbs. of factory wiring harness , along with about 85 more pounds here and there. The car already has a 9" and I am going to sit the car down a little more in front and back. The car is going to my chassis man in the next few weeks for a 25.1 treatment and then I will get it back and rewire the whole car including power windows and locks , and then the MSD 7531, Fast XFI and AMS 1000. The motor is a 347 R block with Crower crank and rods, old style TFS Highports worked, custom solid roller, accufab elbow and 90mm throttle body. The turbo is a Turbonetics Y2K 91mm for now. I hope this combo will make 1300-1500 hp with an water to air intercoller and Q16. I am going to try my best to make this a really nice peice in the end. The question is just when! Here are some pics of what I started with and where I am now. We mocked up the motor and turbo system yesterday to look at a few things. What do you guys think?

Thanks man! I hope that once we get the car figured out and feel comfortable about the motor I hope to get the car in the low 5's in the 1/8. I guess we will see but that is the hope anyway!

Yes we are going to build a boxed in area to where the intercooler will set under the rear deck. Just trying to get weight over rearend and make it easier to get the 4" pipe to it.

25.1?? Are you sure? That is typically a ProStock full tube chassis spec, with a 2800# max weight.

If you plan to race heavier than than you should consider 25.5 (3600#/7.50) or 25.2 (3200#/6.00)

    Keeping it stock-suspension legal?

yeah I am retarded! I don't know what I was thinking when I put 25.1, the car will be a 25.5 and will retain stock suspension

Do you have anymore pictures of your trunk area? Or should I say, do you have any pictures of the finished trunk area? Also, where did you get your intake elbow from? Thanks. The car looks good! :2thumbs:
