hey guys, currently runnin 7psi without a prob but when i crank up the boost to 11-12psi my duty cycle w/42's is over 100 percent. I'm running a walbro 255 pump, stock lines, stock rails and 42 lb injectors. My duty cycle was maxed out even with the base fp way jacked up.

What do you guys recommend for my setup? Could I get away with just bigger injectors and some aftermarket fuel rails?? Opinions??

    thanks,

    Drew

Depends how much you want to spend and how big you'll go with your combo down the road.

If you can afford a full fuel system - upgrade. Or...you could switch to 60lb injectors, aftermarket fuel rails, another inline 255 and a bigger in-tank pickup tube -- but I am no expert

Check these guys out or give them a call

Try a Ford GT pump. That is what I had in mine. Set the base pressure at 45 with the vac line plugged. Are you sure your FP is going up with boost?

yeah my fpr is increasing with the boost. Where'd you get that ford gt pump? Are your rails sn95 or from a fox?

Sounds like you just need a inline pump if your trying to save some cash. That pick tube looks nice, using that with dual walbros should be able to support as much power as a sump tank setup right?

I got the GT pump from KKP, and I had SN rails on my car. They are a "little" better than fox rails from what I heard.

I would get bigger injectors first, seeing as they're already maxed out with the fuel pump you've got.

increasing base pressure to the injectors will force more gas to flow through, correct?

Correct'¦.although it will do so across the board. Your idle as well as all parts of your tune will become overly rich. If you are running the stock computer still utilizing the stock 02's, it's possible that the computer will tune out the fuel pressure change over time and leave you back at square one.

How do you tune your combo?

Yep, that's the one. Get the pump, and a boostapump, set your base at 43ish, should be good to go for awhile.
