 I'm only a phone call away buddy!! Hell, I owe you anyway. If it werent for you letting me spend countless hours in the ge-rage while you were doing this shit I wouldn't be where I am today. I know its long as hell, but you have to read this thread :https://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=61219.0;topicseen This car is wicked, it was in car craft a few months back. That ought to be a little motivating, get you to finally go with some forced induction :2thumbs:

I orderd my pilot bearing, and throwout bearing today. I also installed a new tailshaft bushing and seal in the ole' 3550. Gaddamn that thing was wiped. I have only had the new one in my toolbox for the past three years. I also bolted up my motor mounts, A/C compressor, and P/S pump. I will be getting on the horn with MMR hopefully by the beginning of next week to order my intake spacers so I can run the new Victor jr. intake. I pray to god I can stuff all this madness under the stock hood. If all goes well, I wont have to spend an assload to get a cowl hood as funds for this project are running low. I need to gather up all my spare parts and post them for sale to help recoupe some cash.

So my new TeamZ front suspension showed up today, and you know I dropped everything to go bolt it up.... But :pics: and my dumbass left the digi-cam at the house so you will have to wait till tomorrow to see it :moa: DAMN I want this thing done!! but money comes first, and theres work to get done so its on to the back burner with this thing for a week or two. I ordered my MMR intake adapters on saturday, they should be here by the end of the week. Now I just need to get my intake and elbow, and a set of hedders or manifolds to slap on this bitch and its ready to go. I found a pretty cool Edelbrock elbow that will bolt up to my intake, it was designed to fit under an LS1 camaro hood, and I am hoping it will give me adequate clearence under my stock hood. all I need is about 3/4 of an inch ;) we shall see!!

I couldn't be happier with this K-member. Dave @ TeamZ is a great guy, as is most of the sponsors I have dealt with on this site. I am happy to see parts finally start to go on, rather than be removed. I am thinking I will keep the engine compartment in primer for the summer, as I am sure I will be making all kinds of modifications as this assembly proceeds. Plus I will be building a kit for the car within the next year, and it would be nice to not have a nicely painted engine bay to be worried about. I will take care of it when I overall the car. Any-way heres the good shit!!

How could I resist? :D They are abundant, easy to work on, cheap (HAHAHAHA) but seriously you can pick up a decent stang for short money, and up an running as it is I will be into it for less than 10K total investment. Granted I do everything myself, compared to the last car, once its 100% complete i plan on being into this one for half of the last one (30+ thousand) thats including paint & turbo kit. I just want to have fun again, I love building my cars as much as driving them. Its what I eat, sleep, breathe. If it breaks, i fix it. I have learned a lot of what not to do over the past 10 years, so hopefully this one will be the best one yet. Heres a car I painted three years ago, and I plan on this one looking nicer:

Its funny though, I dont really even care that the last car got wrecked. Dont get me wrong it sucks it happend but hey, you can always buy another car. It could have been worse, I would have been pissed had it got stolen or something. At least I got so salvage a ton of parts from it.

Quicktime, its a killer piece. Price is right too, $430.00 Shop around, you might be able to get it a bit cheaper. It will accept any tremec mode -3550/tko style, plus T-5's as well! Want to talk about clearence, you have more than enough room to sneak all kinds of turbo piping around it!

UPDATE! Well, I finally got to spend some quality time with the car. I got the coilover kit in and spindles on, and realized the garbage-ass Hotchkiss c.c plates I have WILL NOT WORK with the upper spring perches. :bah: More money I have to spend! Anyway I got my MMR intake spacers in and bolted up. I purchased some Motorsport headers from a member here for an excellent price. They had a crack in one of the primarys, so I tig-ged it up and it appaers to be all set. I cleaned the shit out of the ole' tremec it was covered in grease and road schwag from the past five years of abuse. And last but not least I installed the torque box reinforcments, temporarily bolted in place, cleaned up all the sound deadner where they are in preperation to weld them in solid. I will also be welding all the seams around the upper & lower boxes before the reinforcments go back in. I am up in the air wether or not I am going to subframe the car this year. I am gettin antsy to drive it, plus I am considering selling my truck, so I will need the car as transportation. I have an 03 cobra radiator coming and a set of 95 cobra front brakes on the way tomorrow. I got a cheesy professional products balancer off e-bay for 60 bucks, and I still have to order my intake and this thing will be ready to go together. I hope to put some good time into it in the next week or two, hopefully it will be ready to go within the next month. I do have some progerss pics to post, but it seems I cannot find my usb cable for my camera

Wow, can't believe I missed this one. I have been thinking about doing a modular fox for a long time. Good luck with the build.

Thanks. Its coming along well, I just wish I could spend more time on it. I have a bunch of parts coming in this week, hopefully I will be ready to dump the motor in by the weekend. I got the brakes on tonight, but I am in the middle of doing intake gaskets on an 88 camaro (TPI car) and holy shit does that intake suck to R&I!

MMR, tey weigh in @ just under $300, but they are the cheapest you will find. It is a nice set-up, it comes with everything (gaskets hardware, and plugs) they also have coolant crossover provisions on both ends, which is a good feature.

Love this build, I have a weird "modfox" itch that I've been thinking about scratching the last little bit.

Something along the lines of a KB modfox, do you have any good websites with modfox info other than modularfox.com? I found a parts list on there but I don't know if it will be complete enough for me. I may PM you some questions later on if/when I get more serious with this project.
